Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated · 22 June 2026
This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for services provided by NextStage Technologies LTD. Because our work is bespoke and built specifically for each client, this policy reflects the custom nature of that work. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service and any accepted Proposal.
1. Bespoke services
We provide custom software design and development. Once work has started, the time and resources committed to your project cannot be recovered, which affects what can be refunded.
2. Deposits and milestone payments
Deposits secure your place in our schedule and cover initial discovery and planning. Deposits and milestone payments become non-refundable once the corresponding work has begun. Fees for work already completed and approved are non-refundable.
3. Cancelling a project
You may cancel a project at any time by written notice. You will be invoiced for all work completed up to the cancellation date, plus any non-cancellable third-party costs we have committed to on your behalf. Any pre-paid amount that exceeds the value of work performed will be refunded to you.
4. Cancelling a retainer
Monthly retainers can be cancelled with 30 days' written notice. Retainer fees are billed in advance for each period and are non-refundable once that period has started, but you retain access to the agreed hours for the period you've paid for.
5. How to request a refund
To request a refund, email hello@nextstagetechnologies.com with your invoice reference and the reason for the request. We aim to review and respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe, typically within 5–10 business days of approval.
6. Chargebacks
If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first — we'll always try to resolve it quickly and fairly. Raising a chargeback without contacting us may delay resolution.
7. Your statutory rights
This policy does not affect any statutory rights you have under applicable law. Most of our engagements are business-to-business; where consumer law applies, your additional legal rights are unaffected by this policy.
